We had a tractor ride to see the buffalo and learnt all about how they originally started with Aberdeen Angus and started the herd of with 3 buffalo in 2019. 🐃

We also had the opportunity to have a look around the shop which was filled with all things local! Ice cream, crisps, biscuits, chocolates and lots of buffalo meat straight from the farm 🥩

We also got to have a look around at all the other small and large animals they have at oakleys farm. The camels were one of the favourites from listening to our members.

We had a great day at the yesterday on the float! A lot of hard work has been put in over the last 6 weeks to create our float, The Inbetweeners!
A big thank you to the Townsend family for lending the car and letting us paint it and also for letting us use their tractor with Ed driving. Thank you to AJP Fabrications for lending us their trailer and to Sam and Jackie from Rooks Nest B&B for hosting us at their farm!
A big well done to every club they all turned out amazing.

We had an amazing day at our county rally yesterday in Onecote. A lot of hard work and prep went into the day and it all paid off when it came to the results! 2nd overall and a few trophies for the club 🏆

We had a great evening with the tug of war with some really strong competition! For most of our juniors it their first ever time pulling in a competition so unfortunately we didn’t get placed. The men’s had great results placing 4th and they were all looking smart in their brand new tow tops very kindly sponsored by
A huge thank you to Anna for sorting these out for us, they were definitely needed!

This Saturday (9th) is our county rally!
A great day packed full of competitions between each club including soap box racing, hobby horse trails, total wipeout and many more. 🏎️🐎
Come along to support your local clubs and take a look at our young farmers in action!
‼️Don’t forget it’s also the rally tug & glug in the evening where clubs will go head to head in tug of war and the county bar will be open ‼️

Amazing results from our members on Sunday!
County Stockman competition judging Beef, Dairy, breeding ewes and butchers lambs. 🐄🐑
For a few of our members this was there first time taking part in this competition ever so to come away with great results and them being enthusiastic for next time if amazing to see 🤩
