Last week we started our Animal Helper badge.
We looked at different animals and what the difference between endangered, extinct and safe animals were and what we could do to help local animals.

We did a small litter pick around the outside of our meeting place and look how much litter we found! We couldn’t believe there were so much. As at first glance we didn’t see any!!!

During our first meeting back we looked at the Brownie Promise and Law. We made bookmarks, goodturn keyrings and folded a flower which when put gently on water opened up to reveal the promise.

In April we joined other Brownies from Girlguiding Uttoxeter and other local Divisions to complete a wellbeing and mindfulness afternoon.
The girls really enjoyed it and completed the Girlguiding Staffordshire body and soul badge.
We learnt about our skeleton and bones, made a simple lip gloss, did some yoga and hand massage, thought about what makes us unique learnt some first aid and enjoyed a very active dance session.

On Sunday one of leaders went along to Tean Valley Meadow Nature Trust to help support Girlguiding Uttoxeter and learnt all about bees and help Rainbows complete their Bee Rescuer badge.
We made a bee paradise… everything needed to help bees thrive,
Some bee art work, which tells the story of bees and what they need!
We also talked all about different bees and what they need.

We also spotted an interesting ladybird! Which is actually native to the UK.
