As the TCA, we have received concerns about vehicle speeds on the roads around the estate. We have been advised that speed bumps are not a viable option, but we continue to work with BDC to explore possible solutions to help reduce speeds and improve safety for everyone.
Please do drive carefully along the roads to keep everyone safe.

🚗 Parking Reminder

Please be considerate when parking on the estate. Keep garages accessible and avoid obstructing other people’s cars. Please remember that there are no allocated parking spaces for individual houses, as the land is public, and no one is entitled to a specific parking space (unless it is in an enforceable disabled parking bay).

Thank you for being considerate and respectful to your neighbours! 😊

Eastlight and local councillors will also be in attendance. We also need people to join the committee so that the work for the estate can continue. If you have some time to volunteer then please come along to the meeting. If you want to know more about the roles then feel free to message. Also if you want a copy of the agenda then please let us know your email and we can send it to you.

We are aware that there has been a lot of rubbish left behind after the community action day yesterday. As a committee we are talking to Eastlight about it being collected. Please note anything left now is fly tipping and you may be prosecuted. We are aware of people coming on to the estate from elsewhere and this has been fed back to BDC.
Prior to the clean up day the committee had informed Eastlight and BDC as to what had happened in the past and what was needed but we had no control over what was provided.
You can report any fly tipping via the BDC website.

Please do not leave rubbish next to the skips. The skips should not be piled higher than the top of the skip.

We have finally got a map of the estate, in the noticeboard by the community hut/ shops

We are going to look into seeing, if we can put more maps up around the main entrances on the estate, now an easier map has been generated

Hopefully, this will at least help some of the visitors on the estate find where they are going

Huge thank you to Hayden and Gary for designing and printing our community map
