Our amazing Civilian Committee Secretary, Caroline, has completed a tandem parachute jump in Queenstown, New Zealand — all to raise funds towards a new minibus for 295 (Witham & Rivenhall) Squadron.

She jumped at 12000 ft and was free falling for 4,000 ft. she says "Thank you to all those who kindly sponsored me and sent best wishes for my tandem parachute jump. It was an amazing experience, with excellent views and weather."

We are SO proud of Caroline for taking on such an extraordinary challenge to support our cadets.

A huge thank you to the Essex Freemasons from Witham Masonic Lodge for their generous £250 donation towards our new minibus. The Civilian Committee, staff and cadets are incredibly grateful for your support. Every contribution brings our cadets one step closer to a vehicle that will unlock more adventures and opportunities!

Last week, we were delighted to be joined by some members of the Essex Freemasons from Witham Masonic Lodge. After reading about our fundraising challenge for a new minibus, they very kindly donated £250 towards our cause.

We’re incredibly grateful for their support and generosity. It’s wonderful to see our local community getting behind our cadets and helping us work towards a vehicle that will enable even more opportunities, adventures, and experiences for the young people in our squadron.

A huge thank you to everyone who has donated or supported our fundraising so far – every contribution, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to our goal.

Gift Aid is one of the simplest and most effective ways parents of our cadets can support the squadron. If you’re a UK taxpayer, completing a Gift Aid form allows us to claim an extra 25% on your donations at no extra cost to you. This additional funding helps us provide equipment, activities and opportunities for our cadets.

Our current squadron minibus is no longer fit for purpose, and we’re working hard to raise funds for a new one that will safely transport our cadets to camps, events, competitions, flying, community activities and so much more.
