We're delighted to introduce our next Character Gemma, brought to life by the wonderful Corrina Groombridge in our next production.

Gemma is warm-hearted, determined, and full of baking ambition, she enters the famous tent, as the back up contestant but that's not going to stop her, she is ready to whisk, knead, and bake her way through every challenge. Along the way she'll discover friendship, face a few baking disasters, and prove that success is about much more than a perfect sponge.

Join Corrina as she serves up a character packed with humour, heart, and plenty of star baker spirit!

🥧 Meet Ben! Played by Oli Budino 🥧

Ben is kind-hearted, dependable, and always ready with a classic dad joke, Ben is a devoted single father who has entered the Bake Off tent with the encouragement of his daughter, Lily.

Baking has helped Ben through life's toughest moments, and while he's still learning to navigate life after loss, he's determined to embrace new opportunities, make lasting friendships, and perhaps even find a little happiness along the way.

With a warm smile, a generous spirit, and a passion for creating delicious bakes, Ben is sure to win hearts both inside and outside the tent. ❤️

🎭 Meet Babs! Played by Fiona Bocking 🍰💖

Warm-hearted, determined, and never afraid to get stuck into a challenge, Babs brings plenty of life experience—and a lot of baking talent—to the Bake Off tent. A proud grandmother with a twinkle in her eye, she's ready to show that she's still got what it takes to rise to the occasion!

Whether she's handling a soggy bottom, perfecting her buns, or proving that experience beats youth every time, Babs approaches every bake with humour, heart, and just a hint of mischief.
