Hatti is so awesome, she came to us at 6 years old having never met another duck and here she is showing the new disabled ducks how to snorkel for yummy bugs 🪲🐛 🪱

This week, Sally’s Duck Rescue would like to say a huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who gives their time, energy and kindness to help our ducks.

From feeding, cleaning and refreshing pools, to welfare checks, DIY, gardening and putting ducks safely to bed — our volunteers make a real difference every single day.

Special ducks

Today we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming a beautiful girl named Turtle to the rescue. I want to share this amazing girl to show not her disability but the huge amount of verve for life that she has. It is truly humbling to be trusted with her life and to love her will be my privilege.

Turtle is a wonderful girl who has what we believe to be scoliosis (we have much experience of this) but we know that she can, with love and extra support, live a wonderful life while she is here.
