Have you ever read the horoscope section in the newspaper to find out what the day ahead had in store for you?

We learnt a little about the history of the zodiac. We also painted our own artworks with colours and added our own personality traits.

Experiencing Cricket!

Who would have thought we can experience playing cricket indoors, comfortably in our armchairs?

A big thanks to Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation and Woodmancote Cricket Club who brought cricket into our Centre and had a fun afternoon with our members. We started with some warm-up exercises, then took turns to experience playing cricket with the special plastic bats and prepared wickets. Such a great balance of safety, fun and exploration!

Guess The Scent!

What scents remind you of your childhood?

Scents can evoke such powerful memories. We collected various objects from the garden such as lavender, mint and household items like teabags, to see who could tell what the item was.

It was a fun, fragrant session, and led to wonderful discussions about childhood memories.

Happiest 90th birthday to Kelvin!

What a fabulous day celebrating Kelvin's 90th birthday with families & friends of our members. We started with some party games and had a delicious homemade picnic lunch. We then had one of the best 60s bands, The Jaguars, who certainly blew the roof off. There wasn't a second without singing and dancing.

Thank you everyone for joining our picnic party. You've made this such a memorable day!

Fun Horse Racing Game

Today we enjoyed all the thrills and spills of horse racing. Using homemade 'horses' we all had turns at racing each other. It was such fun, and was a good workout too!

What can we do with the beautiful rocks that we picked up from gardens or beaches?

We decided to do some rock painting! Our members chose their favourite colours to create lovely pictures; and wrote different quotes on them.

We heard that people sometimes hid their finished creations in parks and community space. Anyone would like to see them in the local area?

It's our pleasure to have the wonderful string quartet from the with us for a morning filled with classical music and familiar tunes.
