Human sewage can carry diseases and viruses like e.coli and norovirus, although molluscs are then soaked in sterile tanks so they can usually purify themselves before they are sold.

I know I know, still learning the smile game but here is a plea from the former Worshipful Mayor of Cheltenham 2021-22.

I still support my chosen charity the Friends of Cheltenham Samaritans, this is in no way taking funds away from the current Mayor who has 3 Charities and a payment mechanism bespoke to the serving Mayor.

18 months on from the end of my year as Mayor, at my Charity the lights still burn and need paying for and the Freephone telephone support line still needs people to answer the calls and still needs to be paid for as whilst it’s FREE to callers, FofSams pay for the 116 123 service.
Many local businesses dedicate themselves to raising cash for local Charities during a given year. This is amazing and I fully support it but here is a plea. Choose either Cheltenham Samaritans or The Friends of Cheltenham Samaritans to be one of the charities you choose to raise cash for in 2024.
