Mozambique mass vaccination campaign has started ๐Ÿ’‰๐Ÿ•

From 1st to 12th June, weโ€™re completing a vaccination drive in Guija District, Mozambique.

Our local team, alongside international volunteers, will be working across our project area to vaccinate dogs โ€“ ensuring they are protected from this deadly disease.

Weโ€™re aiming for a 70% vaccination coverage โ€“ the crucial threshold needed to break the cycle of transmission and achieve herd immunity.

Letโ€™s power on to protect communities ๐Ÿ™Œ

Vaccines, volunteers, and a vision: ending rabies in Laos.

Rabies is 100% preventable and mass vaccination of dogs is the most effective way to control it.

In Laos, over 8,000 dog bite incidents are reported annually, yet many victims do not receive timely post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

Weโ€™re working with project partners in Laos to expand our work and protect people and animals from this deadly virus.
