We’re so sad to see a post from a mum on a local group about her child being very unwell after playing in the Bollin this week. Sadly the Bollin contains a lot of 💩. We’ve written up this after our very eye-opening talk from Mersey Rivers last month. Please read it and please don’t let your kids or pets go in the Bollin.

This is the phrase that stopped United Utilities including a water works upgrade to make the Bollin river in the Carrs safer for kids to play in.

We had a full house for a fantastic talk last night from Susannah at the Mersey Forest 🌳
There were so many interesting insights, but this might be a favourite: people who can see a lot of trees from their homes or when they’re out and about are 22% less likely to suffer from mental health issues. Trees are magic and we should appreciate every last one we have here in our beautiful town.
