Thank you to our friends 𝙷𝙸𝙲𝙺𝙾𝚁𝚈’𝚂 𝚂𝙼𝙾𝙺𝙴𝙷𝙾𝚄𝚂𝙴 Wilmslow for hosting a donation box for us. You can now drop off an essential toiletry whilst enjoy a drink or delicious food. It’s back to school this week so why not add your child’s ’can’t do without’ toiletry when you next shop

Our volunteers are now taking a well-deserved break for Summer🌞

A huge thank you to every one of our volunteers – from our regular Team Tuesday to our Sewing Bees and our SOS Group to the newly established ‘Pallet Crew’ – for everything you’ve done over the first seven months of the year. Your time, kindness and dedication have helped us support thousands of people across our community 🩵 We’ll be back in September, refreshed and ready for another busy few months!

In the meantime, don’t forget we’re still collecting toiletries. If you’re taking part in our Operation Mini this summer, or have any unopened and unused toiletries to donate, simply pop them into one of our donation boxes. You’ll find our latest locations in our highlights.

🎉We’re delighted to have been chosen as one of PHMG’s chosen charities!

To celebrate, we welcomed Yasmeen, Daisy and Catherine to BN’s HQ – and they certainly didn’t come empty-handed! Alongside a fantastic donation of toiletries, they rolled up their sleeves to help back 40 bags for our women’s and mother & baby charities, as well as individual boys’ toiletry packs ready for distribution.

Every donation and every volunteer hour help us get essential hygiene products to people who need them most.

A huge thank you to everyone at PHMG for choosing to support Bare Necessities Toiletry Bank. We can’t wait to see what we achieve together over the coming year 🩵

💙 Every young person deserves the opportunity to celebrate the father or fatherly figure in their life this Father’s Day.

That’s why we’ve packed and distributed 150 toiletry gifts to local charities and schools, helping ensure that families experiencing hygiene poverty can still take part in this special occasion. A small gift can mean so much, helping someone feel included, valued and cared for.

If you have any unused or unwanted men’s toiletries, please donate them into one of our donation boxes 📍

🎉 We’re delighted that the Poynton The Women's Institute has chosen Bare Necessities Toiletry Bank as their charity partner for the year!

Supporting us through to May 2027, their fantastic members have voted to help us continue providing essential hygiene products to local families and individuals who need them most. We’re looking forward to working together over the coming year, supporting their fundraising events and activities, and sharing more about the impact of our work at their monthly meetings.

Last week’s Team Tuesday session saw us welcome to the HQ!

Alongside their donation, their Sales Executive Isabella rolled up her sleeves and joined our volunteer packing session, helping prepare toiletry totes for the charities and organisations we support each week.

Their Sales Director shared 🗣️ “Bare Necessities Toiletry Bank makes a real and immediate difference to people in the community and we’re proud to support their work. We hope this donation helps them continue providing vital hygiene essentials to families who may otherwise go without.”

Want to help? Check your bathroom cupboards and donate any unopened, unused mini toiletries. We’ll repurpose them into hygiene packs and get them to people who need them most 💪

Our Pallet Crew were right on time for today’s delivery and for a well-earned brew as we celebrate them this ☕💙

In record time, they moved a full pallet delivery up to our HQ in under 15 minutes! Their strength, teamwork and willingness to jump in whenever needed help keep our Team Tuesdays running smoothly behind the scenes.

The Pallet Crew are a brilliant example of community in action. Whether it’s unloading deliveries, moving stock or helping us tackle the heavy lifting, they’re always read to lend their support when we need it most.

So, of course, a brew was in order as a small thank you for everything they do 👏

Happy 🩵

This , we’re shining the spotlight on our sensational Sewing Bees🪡 🐝

Our Sewing Bees are a collective of over 20 women who generously volunteer their time, skills and equipment to handcraft the individual bags used for our totes and hygiene packs. Using donated and repurposed materials wherever possible, they transform unwanted fabrics into something both practical and meaningful, saving us over £2,500 in purchasing costs and allowing more of our funds to go directly towards tackling hygiene poverty across our communities.

Each bag is made with love and care, giving recipients something they can reuse long after they’ve received their pack – a lasting reminder that someone took the time to create it just for them.

Thank you to our Sewing Bees, and to all our BN volunteers, for the difference you make every day. We simply couldn’t do it without you.
