We were pleasantly surprised to find out that Sandymoor Runners had chosen us as the charity for their Annual Neon Run. We want to send a huge thank you to all involved and to those who chose us!
We rely heavily on donations and appreciate all off your hard work to gather a phenomenal £950!!! This will go a long way in providing local support to local patients, supporting them to keep moving forwards! Sam went to meet the lovely founders, Louise and Les to express our thanks and present them with their certificate. Thank you again x

We haven't posted for a while but it doesn't mean we haven't been busy!
Last week Sam had the pleasure of modelling for the amazing as they trained their staff to measure correctly and compassionately.
The time they take to get the right fit and bra for their client was perfect. They took the time to chat and help their client feel relaxed before any measuring took place. They figured out what style the client likes and matched the bra to the personality, this is so important in making a cancer patient feel confident again!

Sam also got to meet the lovely Amy Burke too! She is a force to be reckoned with, a true entrepreneur. She has invented a cold cap aid to help patients using the cold cap to feel much more comfortable. These are being rolled out through St Helens Hospital!

Overall it was an amazing, uplifting experience where the staff took feedback from Sam and Amy and made them feel so special. Thank you to the Womanzone team. You are awesome at what you do!

It’s not just one type
A lot of people think breast cancer is just one disease …
But in reality, there are many different types, and each person’s journey can look completely different. 💖

💎Here are just a few:

✨ Ductal Carcinoma (IDC/DCIS)
The most common type, starting in the milk ducts.

✨ Lobular Breast Cancer
Begins in the milk-producing glands and can be harder to detect on scans.

✨ HER2-Positive Breast Cancer
A faster growing type, but one that often responds well to targeted treatment.

✨ Triple Negative Breast Cancer
Less common, but can be more aggressive and requires different treatment approaches.

✨ Metastatic (Secondary) Breast Cancer
This is when cancer has spread to other parts of the body. It is treatable, but not currently curable - and those living with it deserve ongoing support, understanding, and visibility. 💕

💎 Every diagnosis is unique. Every journey is different.
And every person deserves the right support along the way.
✨ And while we’re talking about awareness …
Don’t forget to check your chest regularly. Knowing your body could help you spot changes early.

People often focus on appointments, treatment plans and practical support — but the emotional impact of a diagnosis can be just as significant.

Many people are not prepared for the feelings that can come with it:
