Did you know Vision Support has an office in Halton? 💜

Our team at Halton Sensory Services is based in Widnes, providing information, advice and practical support to people with vision impairments across the area.

Recently, Dawn attended a Community Day at The Community Shop in Runcorn, where she had the opportunity to meet local residents, share information about our services and network with other organisations supporting the community. It was a fantastic event with a great turnout and a great opportunity to connect with local services.

As well as supporting people one-to-one, Dawn also runs a variety of social groups and activities across Halton, helping people with sight loss stay connected, try new things and meet others in a welcoming and supportive environment.

Please all join in… Deafness Resource Centre provide support to hundreds of people in Halton and we want them to continue their support via Halton Sensory Service.

Join us as we walk to raise money to support D/deaf people. Every step and every donation helps us continue providing vital services, support, and opportunities for our local Deaf community.

We have a new Signature Accredited British Sign Language Level 1 evening course beginning in January 2027 🙌

Our courses are Signature accredited and taught by qualified, experienced profoundly deaf and native BSL users.

This is happening TODAY! HALTON SENSORY SERVICE OPEN DAY

The event is open to anyone experiencing hearing loss or sight loss. Visitors will have the opportunity to try a range of FREE equipment designed to support independence, as well as learn more about the practical and emotional support available through our service.
