It was ten years ago (18-06-16) we had our Grand Opening and commissioning service at Riverside. Who remembers all the fantastic entertainment during the day, such as the Bouncy castle, Joey the clown, face painting, hair braiding, fun with bugs, splat the rat, balloon modelling and tin can alley. The packed evening service was great with many dignitaries and pastors from local churches praying for Riverside. Ten years on, we thank God for all the relationships and partnerships that we have built up in our community and beyond. And pray that these would deepen and grow, and also for us as a church, that we would always respond with compassion, generosity, and wisdom to peoples needs. And our impact would be far reaching along our coastlands – beyond what we could even ask for or imagine.

☀️ The countdown to summer is on! ☀️
​We can’t believe it, but Growbaby has just 5 weeks left before we close for the summer break. Our last day open will be July 20th.
​Before we pack up for the holidays, come and visit us to stock up on gorgeous summer clothes for your little ones!

There's nothing like gathering to declare the goodness of God!
Make a plan to join us tomorrow – Simon will be starting a new series of talks called “Signs of Life”, looking at outward expressions of a living faith in Jesus and you won't want to miss out.

We’re still celebrating that seven of our Riverside Church - Whitstable family were baptised during yesterday's service! We are so proud of each of you that made this decision. FYI - The slip road to Riverside is blocked on the Whitstable side. There is access to the church from the Sainsbury’s side (even though it says road closed). 🚧👷🚧
Also, we have a very exciting baptism service tomorrow, which means we are expecting to be much busier than usual. If possible, please allow a little extra time to arrive, park, and find a seat before the service begins.

More than a SONG. More than a BAND. Worship is about connecting with our GOD. We can’t wait to lift up the name of Jesus with you Sunday!
Apart from the exciting Baptism service in the morning at 10:30, there will be a Worship Space service in the evening at 6:30pm. A place where you can come and worship and pray in a bigger space. It is not a led service, but a time to come and connect with God personally with a great live band, listening to God and praying for one another.

We cannot wait to celebrate transformed lives together this week at our baptism service. On Sunday 31st May at Riverside Church we have Baptisms happening during our Sunday morning service. This is one of our favourite days as a church.
