Stream Walk Community Garden Community garden run by volunteers in the heart of Whitstable.

This half an acre of ex-allotment land is a lovely triangular haven tucked away off Stream Walk footpath close to the middle of Whitstable. We grow vegetables, fruit, flowers and wild life areas designed and managed on permaculture principles and also do garden crafts and wood work. Come along and join in with some gardening or woodworking

Open Thursday, 10:00am - 2:00pm (Spring/Summer)/9.30-12.30pm (Winter)
Monday 1.30pm-3.30pm
First Sunday of the month, 10:00am - 12 noon

Fridays for children and their carers, Little Green Fingers, 9:30am - 11.30am

School groups, community and support organisations are invited to contact us to arrange additional sessions or workshops.

Let's celebrate the glorious Red Pepper with the most delicious pasta sauce. Here's the recipe so you can make your own, or come down to Stream Walk Community Garden on Thursday morning and try some, and then buy a jar. Open 9-12:30. Our produce stall will be groaning with freshly harvested veg, and .... there's a new batch of raspberry jam too!

Here's an opportunity not to be missed!
A collaborative drawing workshop with the very talented Liz Atkin (Liz Atkin | Artist, educator, advocate ). Liz will take you on an immersive journey of discovery, exploring autumnal flora and fauna. This will be set in the beautiful Stream Walk Community Garden which is bursting with autumn colour.

The humble apple - what a wonder!
Here we are in the heart of Kent, surrounded by orchards, so let's celebrate with a classic apple Tarte Tatin. Absolutely delicious!
Come down to Stream Walk Garden on Thursday morning 9:00-12:30 and try some.
Have a look at all the other freshly harvested delights on our stall, and take some home with you.

Pears are such wonderful things but they don't keep very well. So here's something to do with any surplus. It's the most EASY recipe for an absolutely delicious dessert - pure indulgence.
We will be selling jars of the Pear Puree you need for this recipe on Thursday morning - 1 jar makes 6 portions.
9:00am - 12:30pm.
We will have little pots of the chocolate mousse made up so you can have a taste!
Come down and see what else we have on our produce stall - vegetables and salad harvested that very morning.
