Stream Walk Community Garden, Whitstable

Stream Walk Community Garden, Whitstable Community Garden for everyone to enjoy as a visitor, friend or volunteer. Learn about growing, composting, soil improvement and general gardening.

This half an acre of ex-allotment land is a lovely triangular haven tucked away off Stream Walk footpath close to the middle of Whitstable. We grow vegetables, fruit, flowers and wild life areas designed and managed on permaculture principles and also do garden crafts and wood work. Come along and join in with some gardening or woodworking

Open Thursday, 10:00am - 2:00pm (Spring/Summer)/9.30-12.3

0pm (Winter)
First Sunday of the month, 10:00am - 12 noon
Fridays for children and their carers, 9:30am - 11.30am (Term time only)

School groups, community and support organisations are invited to contact us to arrange additional sessions or workshops.

We'll be once again opening up the garden for the Whitstable Town NGS Open Gardens next Sunday June 15th selling tickets as well as homemade refreshments and our own-grown plants and produce. It's nearly time for us to open the gates to all the supporters of the NGS Open Garden Scheme. Whitstable Town gardens will be opening on Sunday June 15th from 10am - 5pm and we'll be selling tickets as well as teas, coffees, cakes and plants at the community garden.
