Pandy is about 88 years old, originally born around 1938 at The Chilton Toy Works. He has been loved for all of his life, and has evidently seen plenty of cuddles !

Annette at the Repair Café Weymouth gave him a new lease of life with new eyes, a repaired nose and mouth, together with new paws and pads !

He’s now ready to be looked after the next generation.

The following excerpt from the Velveteen Rabbit by Margery Williams explains Pandy:
"What is REAL?.....When a child loves you for a long, long time, not just to play with, but REALLY loves you, then you become Real...by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off, and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand."
