Once enough incidents have been reported, it will alert the police and the safety officers to the issue. USING THE ORIENTEERING COURSE IN THE PARK

All park users please be aware that from Jan 1st 2021 the “leads on” dog order will no longer apply in the area around the fenced play area, marked out by our wooden dogs. All dogs, as in other parts of the park, must remain under close control, and of course, owners must bag and properly bin dog mess. Dogs, except service animals, are to remain outside the fenced play area at all times. FACEBOOK PAGE USAGE RULES FOR THE FoLCP:
STATEMENT OF PURPOSE: Friends of Lodmoor Country Park (FoLCP) Facebook page must always reflect the group’s aims: to protect, improve and promote Lodmoor Country Park, and
focus exclusively on the park and the activities of FoLCP. FoLCP posts to the page must come through the Chair in consultation with the Facebook Administrator(s). The FB page will have two (2) administrators, who will refer queries to the Chair or Vice-Chair if necessary. Posts and comments by the administrators on behalf of the committee and members will be positive and informative. The focus of all posts will be Lodmoor Country Park. The Chair, with the mandate of the committee, can direct the administrators to make and alter posts and comments. Promotions: This page’s express purpose is to positively promote, protect, improve and provide information about the park and the work of the FoLCP, including activities that the group sponsors on or off the premises, and at our discretion, events sponsored by others that also involve our participation. No other promotions on the main feed are permissible without committee approval. Visitor posts may be made so long as it benefits and positively promotes the park, but the use of the comments of a post to the page for the purpose of promoting non-FoLCP business will be deleted. If misuse is blatant or repeated, the violator will be blocked from the page. Posts by the public must be non-offensive, should reflect the group’s aims, and be in line with FoLCP policies on Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities. Spamming is prohibited. Sharing Posts to other sites: Encouraged so long as it positively promotes the park, and does not violate the Rules of the Page. Reposters should do so as an individual and with the express purpose of respecting the express purposes of the page as stated above. Inappropriate reposting will result in the violator being blocked. Tagging: Tagging posts is encouraged to alert one’s friends to activities scheduled for the park. Photos may also be tagged. Be Kind and Courteous. The administrators, with the mandate of the Chair and committee, reserve the right to delete public comments that are contrary to the group’s aims and which do not focus on Lodmoor Country Park and the activities of the FoLCP., and as agreed by the committee, the administrators in consultation with the Chair and Vice-Chair will block any Facebook user if they make inappropriate use of our pages or persist in contravening the guidelines set out above.
