Sistah Space is a specialist charity that support women and families affected by domestic abuse whilst also ensuring that cultural factors are not only considered but understood.

They aim to ensure that cultural barriers and biases are removed and that their service users are given equal support from them and any other agency they go to for help.

Over the next few months we will be sharing other specialist support services available across Dorset and the UK.

Are you missing those summer Saturdays, the fetes, the shows, the lounging on the beach, meeting up with friends? Fed up looking at those grey winter skies? We at The Bubble - Weymouth Community Space may not be able to replace the sunshine but we do offer an alternative to brighten up your day on a Saturday afternoon, Bubble Saturday Social, bring your lunch, have a cuppa and a natter, listen to music, have a sing, play an instrument, play a game, bring your knitting, bring a friend or come on your own, you will be made very welcome. Starting this Saturday.

Our counselling service provides one to one trauma informed counselling for anyone in Dorset who has been affected by any form of sexual violence in their lifetime.

Our aim is to create a safe and confidential space allowing you to explore and address thoughts and behaviours that are overwhelming. We help you understand the effects of trauma on both your brain and your body.

We are able to offer appointments in both Poole and Dorchester.
