*Why do we ask for donations of money?
👉 Financial contributions help us to purchase fresh food items as and when we need them. We try to make sure all foodbank users receive bread, butter and cheese, as well as some fresh fruit and vegetables.
👉 Financial contributions also help us purchase client-specific items such as baby items or foods for specific allergies or diet requirements.
👉 Donations also help us fund the weekly Citizens' Advice service that is available to ANYONE in our community who comes along to a Community Cafe and Advice Hub in Wetherby (Fridays, 10am till midday) or Tadcaster (Wednesdays, 10am till midday).

💚 Today we'd like to say a huge to everyone who came and helped us celebrate the first anniversary of Wetherby's Community Cafe and Advice Hub!

The Community Cafe and Advice Hub was established and funded by the Foodbank to provide a welcoming social space open to ALL residents of Wetherby and surrounding villages with access to a range of FREE advice, free refreshments, activities for children and a chance to chat.

The first year has been a huge success and we would like to thank EVERYONE involved and EVERYONE who has supported us! THANK YOU! 🙏 🙂

We'd also like to thank the local businesses who so kindly donated raffle prizes: Gymphobics, Paul's Barber Shop, Urban Union Barbers, Mirror Mirror Hair Salon, Memphis Belle Beauty Salon and Tesco Extra at Clifton Moor. THANK YOU so much for your support! 💚
