At our hospice, we help children with life-shortening conditions, and their families, make the most of every moment together. From everyday smiles to milestone celebrations, we're here to create memories, provide specialist care and support families when they need it most.

When we first shared Thomas' story, we hoped it would help people understand why THE BUILD mattered.

Over the years, Bethany and Jack spoke openly about their family's experiences, showing supporters the difference Martin House makes and what a hospice fit for the future would mean for families like theirs.

As one of the first families to get behind THE BUILD, they played a vital role in bringing that vision to life, and we're incredibly grateful for everything they did to help make it possible.

A week on from our official opening celebrations, we're still overwhelmed by the incredible response 💙

EidFest 2026 🌙🌺

More than 200 guests joined us in our new hospice grounds to celebrate Eid, filling the day with laughter, music and special moments shared with family and friends.

From music, dancing and storytelling to face painting, henna, animal encounters, and delicious food, there was something for everyone to enjoy! Most importantly, it was a day full of connection, joy and memories that will last a lifetime.

Grace and Jon have made it to Oslo! 🇳🇴 🚴🚴‍♀️

Over the weekend our colleagues Grace and Jon completed their remarkable cycle from Leeds Children's Hospital to Oslo in Norway.

Cardiac Nurse Specialist Grace and Neonatal Doctor Jon completed the 1700mile cycle in memory of their son Zachary, raising funds for Martin House Children's Hospice.
