🌟 Little Gillies Daycare Welcomes First Ofsted Inspection 🌟
We are incredibly proud to share that Little Gillies Daycare has successfully completed its very first Ofsted inspection — a huge milestone in our journey! 🎉
The inspection recognised our warm, nurturing environment, dedicated team and child-centred approach to learning. Inspectors highlighted how our children enjoy exploring the local community and learning about the area’s fishing heritage through play, visits and community events. 🚤⚓
Our Chair, Hele, said:
“We are incredibly proud to celebrate our rating in our very first Ofsted inspection. This achievement reflects the dedication, passion and resilience of Sarah and the entire team, as well as the amazing support from our wonderful community.”
Manager Sarah added:
“I am incredibly proud of each and every member of this team. Their hard work, dedication and teamwork continue to make a real difference every day.”

UPDATE - all back to normal 🤞🤞

At the heart of our curriculum, here at Little Gillies, is the aim for our Cockles and Winkles to grow into independent, resilient and confident learners.

🦖 Our dinosaur dig activity this week has been a fantastic example of how we encourage this through play based learning.

🦕 Our Cockles have been exploring different tools and methods to free the dinosaurs. There has been plenty of trial and error, problem solving language and collaborative play.
