An evening with The Female Fisherman at North Norfolk Wine Cellar. A flight of 6 seafood canapés prepared with Ashley's catch, each Paired with a perfectly chosen wine by Bert of North Norfolk Cellars.

Ashley, The Female Fisherman shares what life is really like at sea and the realities of running a fishing business from Wells-Next-the-Sea. A relaxed and conversational evening, with some great stories and an insight into where your seafood comes from.

Thank you to Wells Carnival - Wells next the Sea, Norfolk for their grants over the years. The last two years grants paid for flooring in two of our properties, the year before paid for a new boiler in one of our properties.
Annie, a volunteer board member for Homes for Wells 'walked and talked' with Elisa from Wells Carnival about Homes for Wells and what they do and how Carnival grants have helped in the past.
Elisa Bray is walking 100 miles in April to raise funds to pay for the toilets during Wells Carnival week. Head over the the Wells Carnival page to find out how to 'spend a penny' and donate.

Local Residents:
Broadband Housing Association are carrying out a Housing Needs survey as part of their development service on behalf of Homes for Wells.

It is important that ALL local residents complete this survey to give a clear understanding of the housing needs of residents in the town.
All information is strictly private & confidential, only used for the purposes of this assessment.

Homes for Wells is a community benefit society. Owned by the community, for the benefit of the community. As a small group of volunteers we take our responsibilities very seriously and we need the communities help via this survey to understand your needs.

It is the last day today to view the 'Home' Exhibition at Wells Maltings, open 10am to 4pm.
It is well worth popping in for a view, the students of APHS have put a tremendous amount of work into this exhibition and it is very interesting to see everyone's interpretation of what a Home means to them.

We would like to Thank everyone that came to our event last night at the 'Home' Exhibition.
It was great to see so many faces from the past of Homes for Wells.
Over the last 20 years people from our community have given their free time to run Homes for Wells as board members, we wouldn't be where we are today, housing 46 local families, without their gift of time.

We are currently looking for some new board members to join our team to develop the strategic direction of the organisation; a Finance Director, a Lawyer and someone experienced in bidding for grants.
We would be very pleased to hear from anyone interested. If you would like to meet Lynne, Our chair for a coffee and further details on the roles/time commitments please email [email protected] .

Huge thanks to everyone who joined us for the Alderman Peel High School 'Home' Exhibition Parents and Friends Preview last night. It was fantastic to see such a great turnout of families, students, and supporters.

Mary Blue, local artist and Homes for Wells Tenant made an emotional, heartfelt speech about how Wells is home, how she enjoys her time volunteering with students in the Art department at APHS and the beauty of the local area and community shines through in the students artwork.

The students' work is truly incredible, and we sincerely hope you can visit the exhibition some time over the next week in Wells Maltings.
The exhibition closes on Thursday 19th March.

Thank you to French's Fish Shop for sponsoring the hire of the Handa Gallery for the exhibition.
