Some of you may have seen the post of Fakenham Community Notice Board last night about the kittens in the car park at new McDonalds. We don’t know how many are there but we now have one of the kittens in our care now as it was handed in at the Grove Vets (which is basically next door). There has been talk of a second kitten being caught but we don’t believe this is from the same litters as its was found quite a way from McDonalds.

If you find one of these kittens, please do take it to the Grove Vets who are open 24 hours a day. They will then contact us.

If we had spare traps, we would be out trying to catch them ourselves but all our traps are out with people trying to do the same thing in various locations around North Norfolk. Kitten season is definitely upon us and we are very grateful to everyone who is trying to help all those in need. We will share a picture of the kitten or kittens we have in a few days.

We're not quite sure where one kitten starts and the other finishes! These little things have a selection of cosy beds but decided to sleep on an old towel that had been dropped on the floor.
These are the Friends kittens that were found at 3 weeks old in a garden. They are having a rough start and not doing as well as we'd like, but there's signs of progress this week. They are getting all the help and love we can offer, and we hope to be able to show you pictures of them looking fluffy, cute, and healthy in a few weeks' time.

One of our current litter of kittens is suffering with tummy trouble 🤒💩 and we have now running low on old newspapers. 📰🗞📰🗞

If you have any, we would love to have them. We have collection baskets in Tesco Superstore , Morrisons Fakenham and GJL animal feeds.

FOUND CAT

This sweet little girl has been found in Edgefield and has been hanging around for several months now. If she is feral born then she has learnt to trust humans as she is happy to come into her finders house.

She isn't chipped or neutered. If she is owned, we'd love to get her back home but proof of ownership would be required.

If you believe she is yours, please message us or contact us by email at [email protected]

It’s so lovely that our last post about the gang of seven kittens has been appreciated by so many of you and its especially pleasing that so many people are wanting to give cats new homes.

However, these kittens are currently with a private fosterer as we were unable to take them in. We have paid for their immediate medical care but until such time as we are able to take them in, they are not legally ours and therefore not ours to rehome.

That said, if you are interested in rehoming a cat or kitten, please do complete one of our rehoming questionnaires. It gets you onto our waiting lists and enables us to match the right cat to the right home.

The link below will take you to our questionnaire

The right cat for the right owner is very important as owning a cat is a 15-20 year commitment and we want everyone involved to be happy. Please answer the following questions to help us to assess which cats may be best for you...
