Join our friends at BAK UP CIC for a fantastic day celebrating community, culture and connection.

⏰ 11:00am – 7:00pm
📍 Hall Park, Rushden

Enjoy a full day of live music, performances, spoken word, cultural workshops, family activities, stalls, African and Caribbean food, special guests and much more.

The event is free to attend and welcomes all ages.

A wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate the Windrush generation and enjoy a day packed with entertainment and community spirit.

BAK UP CIC’s Uplift Hours sessions at Finedon Community Centre 💙

These sessions are designed for young people aged 10–18, and up to 25 with SEND, offering a safe and supportive space packed with activities and opportunities.

🕒 Monday–Thursday: 3pm–6pm
🕛 Saturday: 12pm–4pm

There’s always something happening at Finedon Community Centre 📍

Here are just some of the regular activities and groups taking place throughout the week 👇

🏸 Tuesdays 8pm–10pm – Badminton
💃 Thursdays 7:15pm–8:15pm – Zumba with Giulia
🥊 Saturdays 8am–9am – KW Fit Session

We’re also home to local groups and organisations including BAK UP CIC youth sessions, Talk Bark dog training and The Berrypatch Nursery 💙

BAK UP CIC run their Uplift Hours sessions at the centre for young people aged 10–18, and up to 25 with SEND:

Did you know? 👀

Finedon Community Centre was originally a Methodist Church before being acquired on behalf of the community in 1984.

After years of development and hard work from volunteers, the doors officially opened in 1988 as Finedon Community Sports & Leisure Centre and it has continued serving the community ever since 💙

Today, the centre is still run by volunteers and remains completely self funded as a registered charity, providing a space for local groups, events, activities and private hire right in the heart of Finedon.

From fitness classes and family events to celebrations and community groups, the centre has been bringing people together for decades 😊

For those who are new here, Finedon Community Centre is run by a team of volunteers who help keep everything ticking along behind the scenes 😊

From bookings and events to regular groups and community activities, the committee helps make sure the centre stays a welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

There is always something going on at the centre and we’re proud to help keep it busy, friendly and at the heart of the community 💙
