Day 9 Navratri Sanatan Mandir WDHA Wellingborough

19/10/2026

A wonderful message from the ex Mayor of Wellingborough about the Navratri celebrations organised by WDHA Wellingborough

More than 800 people came together under one roof, and the energy in the hall was something special. Families, young and old, friends and neighbours, all celebrating together with music, garba and dandiya.

What struck me most was how smoothly everything ran. Hosting that many people is no small task, and it was clear how much planning and hard work went into it. Huge credit to the WDHA committee and every volunteer who gave their time to make it happen.

The community spirit was visible everywhere you looked. Events like this remind us what makes Wellingborough such a special place. When people come together to share their culture and traditions, the whole town is richer for it.

Thank you to WDHA for the warm welcome. Wishing everyone a joyful and blessed Navratri! 🪔
