Providing financial support to families who have lost a baby or child and cannot pay for the funeral. We also provide guidance on funeral options

The Child Funeral Charity aims to support those families who cannot fund their baby's or child's funeral. We support funerals for children up to the age of 16. We can also source various funeral items either at cost price or free of charge. The Trustees will only accept referrals from professionals who are working with the family. Payments are made directly to the Funeral Director or other providers.

Our trustees have made the difficult decision to close the Child Funeral Charity with immediate effect.

We are so very grateful for the support we have recieved in the last 12 years, without which we could not have helped the hundreds of families we have been able to. Thank you always 💞

Huge thanks go to Kay Croft Celebrant for her and her sponsors incredible donation of £677.50!!! Kay ran the Blackpool marathon in April in support of our charity, and the Christie Charity too. This week we would like to publicly thank West Siphonics Systems for their hugely kind donation to our charity. Without donations like theirs, we couldn't keep helping as many families as we do, so it is very much appreciated. ♥

Goodness where does time go - another year has gone by and it was time for the Barrett family to put on their walking boots (and paws!) again for their annual 7 mile walk to mark their angel Ryan's 14th Birthday. We are so grateful for them bracing the cold to support our charity, raising an incredible £623. You are all brilliant, Thank You!

Baby Loss Awareness Week is a wonderful opportunity to bring us together as a community and give anyone touched by pregnancy and baby loss a safe and supportive space to share their experiences and feel that they are not alone.

We would like to say a rather large THANK YOU to Maria Williams and all of her friends that attended her Chari-Tea back in July. The final amount raised has now been totalled at £520, which is just amazing! The slight bit of rain didn't dampen anyone's spirits and we are only a little bit sad to have missed out on all that cake!

Yet more thanks and gratitude on the way today to the Barrett family, who every year hold an annual walk in memory of their angel Ryan. This took place last weekend, on the Leeds to Liverpool canal, walking 7.2 miles on both Saturday and Sunday. Sponsors are still coming in but so far family and friends have raised £524, which is just incredible. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH.
