We’re delighted to unveil this special limited-edition Northamptonshire Search and Rescue Friend Challenge Coin – a unique keepsake created especially for the friends and supporters of our charity.

This coin is more than just a collectible. It represents the incredible community that stands behind our volunteers, helping us continue our mission of searching for vulnerable missing people and supporting emergency services across Northamptonshire.

Every penny raised from the sale of these coins will go directly towards funding the vital work of Northamptonshire Search and Rescue, helping to provide training, equipment, vehicles, technology and operational resources that allow our volunteers to respond when they are needed most.

This inaugural coin has been produced as a special edition and, if successful, will become the first in a wider limited collector series, making it a fantastic opportunity to own a piece of NSAR history from the very beginning.

Whether you are a supporter, volunteer, former team member, or simply someone who believes in what we do, this coin is a meaningful way to show your support while helping us continue saving lives.

While some of the team were preparing for the weekend’s Respond for Responders event, others were putting themselves through their paces.

Last night, Sam spent over two hours meticulously cleaning and detailing one of our vehicles, ensuring it was looking its best and ready for the event.

Meanwhile, at the other end of the county, five team members successfully completed their annual fitness test, helping to ensure they remain operationally ready for the demands of search and rescue.

TODAY!!!!! It’s the massive…. Wonderful…. Brilliant… Respond for Responders event!!!!!

Kicking off from 1pm at the Higham Works, completely free of charge entry, we have a bouncy castle, an ice cream van, a glitter tattoo artist, stalls, music and emergency vehicles in attendance! A perfect afternoon for the kiddly winks.

From 7pm, for £10 CASH on entry, we have an evening planned just for the adults! Music from Disco Stu and Thems The Brakes. We will also be holding our super duper sized raffle - tickets can be bought throughout the day and the evening.

7pm til 8.30pm - Disco Stu
8.30pm til 9.15pm - Thems The Brakes
9.15pm til 9.45pm - Disco Stu
9.45pm til 10.30pm - Thems The Brakes

10.30pm - RAFFLE DRAW!!!!

Disco Stu to see out the evening with absolute BANGERS!!

All money raised gets split between three charities:
- Northamptonshire Search and Rescue
- Nene Valley Community First Responders
- Fire Fighters Charity
