Drowning Prevention Week helps educate children aged 5–16 with vital water safety advice just before the summer holidays ☀️ — when young people are spending more time outdoors 🚶‍♀️🏖️ around water. These skills are essential so everyone can enjoy water safely 🏊‍♂️💦

We’re encouraging carers 👨‍👩‍👧, schools 🏫, lifesaving clubs 🚨, leisure providers 🏊‍♀️, and local businesses 🏢 to get involved and help spread awareness 💙.

Help share an important message 📣 and make a real difference in your community! 🌍
👧🧑 Who can enter: Under 16s

Just a reminder about our summer trip ☀️

Letters went out at our last session and a copy is below.

We are hoping to keep the cost to no more than £10 per young person, (which will be non-refundable) to secure places.

As a youth club, we always do our very best to keep costs as low as possible for all our families, and we completely understand that plans can sometimes change and unforeseen circumstances happen.

However, last year the club lost over £500 due to places being booked and then not used without enough notice. Unfortunately, this is something we simply cannot sustain as a community-run club.

Thank you so much for your understanding and continued support — it really does help us continue providing opportunities and trips for our young people 💛
