It’s where autistic children build social skills, emotional skills, and communication skills through play, at their own pace, without pressure.

Every activity in the room has a purpose behind it. Every child leads. Every family is welcomed without judgment.

This is what 10am on a Saturday looks like for us. ✨

Before anyone arrives, the tables are set, the toys are out, the kettle’s on, and the room is ready. ☕

Every station has something different. Lego, building blocks, crafts, a play kitchen, dinosaurs on the floor, board games on the tables. 🦕🧱🎨 Because we never know which child is going to walk through the door, or what they’re going to need that day.

That’s the point. There’s no right way to use this space. Just come and find your thing. 🙌

Some children just need the right place to take off from.

That’s what we built. A free Saturday morning club where autistic children can play, connect and grow. At their own pace, in their own way, with no pressure and no judgment.

The sky is already theirs. We just open the door.

If you’re a SEND family looking for something to do this summer, this one is worth knowing about. 👇

Send Hearts are running their SEND Summer Sessions every Wednesday throughout the summer, 11am to 2pm. Low demand, free play, a warm welcoming community and a packed programme of activities including candle making, Bollywood dance, Rhythmic Movement Therapy, drop ins from Northants Mind, Northants Carers and the Children’s Mental Health Team.

No age limit. All families welcome, including Black and Asian SEND families and children with complex needs.

Dates run from 22nd July through to 26th August. Something different every week. 🌟

The quiet room is back. 🤫

Sometimes the main room is too much. And that's completely okay.

Bean bags, soft toys, floor cushions and a calmer space to reset, recharge and just breathe. For the children who need somewhere quieter to feel safe and settled.

Because we've always believed one size doesn't fit all. So we made sure we've got both.

Dads — this one’s for you. 🏊

This Saturday 18th July, 3pm to 4pm, SENDS 4 Dad are running a dedicated swimming session for dads, male carers and their children at Moulton Leisure Centre, Northampton.

Because sometimes the best therapy is just getting in the pool with your child and forgetting about everything else for an hour. 💙
