Wellingborough Eco Group & Wellie Wombles

Massive thank you to the 21 litter picking heroes, who turned out for this month's Two Hour Tidy Up. It's Halloween and they joined us at Doddington Road Cemetery for a spooky litter pick between 10:00 and 12:00.

We litter picked 30 bags full of litter from the cemetery and surrounding streets, plus found and abandoned trolley, car tyre and bits of wood! Well done all ⭐️

Thank you to Amara and Hena, Glen and Hazel, Bob and Gill, Carole and Mick, Freddie and Georgina, Chris and Suzanne, Jonathan and Billy, Sam, Eileen, Mick S, Brenda and Chrissie, and Deb and Matthew.

See you at next month's Two Hour Tidy Up on the last Saturday of the month, ALL WELCOME!

Doddington Road Cemetery Litter Pick on now!

Wellingborough Eco Group & Wellie Wombles

17 litter picking heroes out already for this month's Two Hour Tidy Up

It's Halloween! Join us at Doddington Road Cemetery and the surrounding area. We have set up our Recycling Station at the entrance to cemetery on Doddington Road at 9:30, for a spooky litter pick between 10:00 and 12:00.

Join us for our monthly Two Hour Tidy Up!

This location has been chosen because it is Halloween. We have not tidied this area before so unfortunately there’s a lot to do. It could be cold, so free refreshments including tea and coffee, and maybe even cake will be available.

To help us and keep us safe at this and future litter picks, Wellingborough Eco Group have purchased some litter pickers, hi-vis vests and safety equipment including road signs, so everything is provided but please bring your own gloves and do dress up if you can.

Join in, bring your friends and family, ALL WELCOME!
