Please see the below breakdown of all characters and audition pieces. As mentioned at the AGM, please only audition for one speaking character but highlight on the audition form if you want to be considered for more.
There will be a separate “harmony” workshop for ‘The Sparklettes’, you need to be able to be confident with holding 3 part harmonies.
This year, the ensemble are being broken down even more in terms of movement. There will be a dance/movement workshop if you would like to put yourself forward for more difficult movement within the ensemble that isn’t as complex as the movement for the ‘Senior Dancers’.
You are able to audition for the ensemble or principal roles if you are unsuccessful with senior/junior dance auditions.
In terms of audition songs, please learn the first verse and chorus of the audition songs
Prince Charming and Dandini can be portrayed by either male or female. But they will both have to be Male or both be female, as they switch parts in the storyline.
The Mayor and Young Cinderella are to be auditioned together. Any other double act characters (ugly sisters or Prince Charming and Dandini can either audition together or individually.
Show week is 24-31st January 2027. Rehearsals take place on Monday evenings (principals), Wednesday evening (ensemble and principals), Friday evenings (senior & junior dancers) and occasional Sundays throughout December and January for all cast.

Auditions for the Senior and Junior dancers will be taking place on Friday 3rd July and Sunday 12th July for Principals and Ensemble. All Sunday's auditions will be taking place at All Hallows Church Hall and Fridays auditions will be held at Diana's Health and Fitness
