📣 Community Update – Meeting with SCD / Vistry
The Stanton Cross Residents’ Association will be meeting with SCD / Vistry later this week to discuss a number of ongoing issues and concerns affecting the development and wider community.
As part of this, we would like to invite residents to share any key questions, concerns or feedback they would like the SCRA to raise during the meeting.
Some of the topics already identified include:
• Retail centre / shops update
• Road connection progress near Leyland area
• Tennis courts and open space access
• Car park access near the school
• Infrastructure and future utilities works
• Progress on land transfers and community spaces
Please comment below with:
* questions you would like raised;
* concerns affecting residents;
* or areas you would like clearer updates on.
We appreciate this is relatively short notice, as the meeting is scheduled for Friday morning. To help us prepare and collate feedback in advance, we would be grateful if comments could ideally be shared by Thursday evening where possible.
However, residents are still welcome to continue sharing feedback after this point, as this will help shape future discussions, priorities and engagement with stakeholders going forward.
Please note that this particular meeting will primarily focus on strategic infrastructure, planning and wider community delivery matters affecting Stanton Cross.
While all resident feedback is important, more localised or individual matters (such as isolated maintenance concerns, neighbour disputes, individual snagging issues or routine service matters) should generally be raised directly with the developer, management company, council or relevant authority in the first instance.
As a volunteer-led residents’ association with limited time and resources, the SCRA must prioritise issues that impact the wider community and where collective resident representation is likely to have the greatest impact.
This helps ensure that stakeholder meetings remain focused, productive and outcome-driven.
Thank you again for your continued engagement and support.
