Watford Deaf Club

Watford Deaf Club Club for British Sign Language users. WE ARE OPEN AGAIN! FAQs

Where can I learn British Sign Language? Are learners welcome? Yes!

We have social groups, welcome speakers (in BSL or with interpreters), play games, and organise other events at the Harebreaks Community Hub, Watford. The two main British Sign Language qualification exam boards are Signature.org.uk and ibsl.org.uk
Your best bet is to look on their websites for local providers. We think the closest is Harrow but St Albans might be easier to get to for some people.

Our 1st Wednesday evening of the Month is particularly suitable, but more experienced learners are welcome to our twice monthly Tuesday Afternoon Club. Just be aware you will need to sign as much as possible :)
