The Watford Weekly Business group has been running since 2008, having been set up by a group of likeminded local business owners who believed that the region needed a different kind of networking group. Six years on, we’re still meeting every week for breakfast, and to help each other to grow and de
velop – personally and professionally
The group is more relaxed than some traditional business networking groups, with a focus on supporting each other’s businesses through sharing knowledge. (Many other groups focus very strongly on the passing of referrals, but we believe this leads to quantity at the expense of quality, and a lot of wasted time)
Another advantage is that we only charge a nominal £40 annual fee, which allows regular attendees to promote their business on our website, and gives them priority in their chosen business sector. The weekly meeting/breakfast fee – payable on the door – is just £10 for members, so over the course of a year, the saving compared to other networks such as BNI or BRX can run to £400 or more.
