🚶‍♂️ MEN WALKING AND TALKING WARWICK 🚶‍♂️

What a fantastic evening for a walk around the streets of Warwick.

Tonight we welcomed 17 guys, including 1 new face, proving once again that taking that first step can lead to great conversations and new friendships.

We were also joined by our four-legged regulars, Hugo 🐾 and Jasper 🐾, who were on hand to keep morale high and collect plenty of fuss along the way!

As part of Men’s Health Week, it was great to see so many men coming together to support one another, share a laugh, have a chat, and enjoy the simple benefit of walking side by side.

Whether you’re having a good week, a tough week, or somewhere in between, remember that you never have to face things alone.

Thank you to everyone who came along tonight and helped make the walk what it was.

See you all next Monday.

💙MEN WALKING AND TALKING WARWICK 💙

It’s Men’s Health Week, and there’s no better time to remind ourselves that talking is a strength, not a weakness.

Life can throw all sorts of challenges our way, stress, anxiety, work pressures, relationship issues, loneliness, grief, or simply feeling overwhelmed. Whatever you’re carrying, you don’t have to carry it alone.

At Men Walking And Talking Warwick, we provide a safe, non-judgemental space where men can come together, walk, chat, listen, or simply enjoy being around others who understand.

You don’t need to have a problem to attend, and you don’t need to talk if you don’t want to. Sometimes just getting out of the house and walking alongside others can make a real difference.

🚶‍♂️ MEN WALKING AND TALKING WARWICK MONDAY NIGHT WALK 🚶‍♂️

Tonight we were joined by 17 men (two new guys) and 1 four legged friends for another walk around Warwick Racecourse.

This week’s walk was especially meaningful as we stopped for our group photo with the incredible Legend On A Bench charity bench at Racing Club Warwick FC.

The bench carries a simple but powerful message:

“Someone Is Always Listening.”

More than just a bench, it stands as a symbol of hope for anyone who may be struggling. It features crisis support information, including contact details for organisations such as Mind, Samaritans and Shout, along with a QR code that links directly to professional mental health support.

What makes it even more special is the solar-powered light built into the back of the bench, creating a beacon of light when darkness falls,a reminder that support is always there, even during life’s toughest moments.

As a group, we are incredibly proud to support the work of this charity and to have it as part of our weekly route around Warwick.

Thank you to everyone who came along tonight. Whether it was your first walk or your fiftieth, every conversation matters and every step counts.

We walk every Monday, whatever the weather, because no man should have to walk alone.

🚶‍♂️ MEN WALKING AND TALKING WARWICK 🚶‍♂️

Sometimes all it takes is one conversation.

Back in October 2023, I attended my first Men Walking And Talking walk. At the time, I had no idea where that simple decision would lead.

Fast forward to today, and I have the privilege of leading the Warwick group, supporting men every single week and helping create a safe space where conversations can happen without judgement.

My story is proof that reaching out works.

It proves that talking helps.

It proves that no matter where you are in life, things can change when you take that first step and connect with others who understand.

You don’t need to have all the answers.

You don’t need to be at rock bottom.

You don’t even need to talk if you don’t want to.

Just turn up, walk alongside us and know that you’re welcome exactly as you are.

Every week we see the power of connection, friendship and support. Men who arrive as strangers leave knowing they are not alone.

If you’re struggling, feeling isolated, or simply want to meet a great group of people, come and join us.

🚶‍♂️ MONDAY NIGHT WALK THANK YOU 🚶‍♂️

Another Monday evening, another walk completed, and another reminder that no matter what’s going on in life, there will always be a group of men ready to walk alongside you.

Tonight, as we kicked off a brand new month, 11 men joined us for our weekly Men Walking And Talking Warwick walk, alongside our four legged friend Hugo the Husky 🐾

The message behind tonight’s walk was simple: make some time for yourself.

Life is busy. Work, family commitments, responsibilities and everyday pressures can easily push our own wellbeing down the priority list. But for an hour this evening, 11 men chose to do something positive for themselves, and that’s something worth celebrating.

As always, there was plenty of conversation, plenty of laughs, fresh air and good company. Whether you come every week or have only recently joined us, thank you for being part of what makes this group so special.

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and continues to support what we’re building together in Warwick.

🏔️ MEN WALKING AND TALKING WARWICK-MASSIVE RESPECT TO MARK JOY 🏔️

One of our own, Mark Joy, took on an unbelievable challenge to raise money for Men Walking And Talking and absolutely smashed it. 💙

Mark started in Imlil at the base of the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, facing temperatures of 28 degrees and a brutal 6 hour climb to a refuge sitting 3200 metres above sea level, beyond the snow line.

After just a few hours rest, the alarms went off at 3am for a 4am start in darkness. Equipped with head torches, crampons and ice axes, Mark and the team pushed through freezing conditions for another 5-hour climb to the summit of Mount Toubkal the highest peak in the Atlas Mountains at 4200 metres. 🧊⛰️

With windchill temperatures around -15 and 50kph winds at the summit, they had only around 20 minutes at the top before beginning an exhausting 10 hour descent all the way back down the mountain to Imlil before travelling back to Marrakesh.

And through all of this… Mark raised an incredible £670 for our group. 👏

That money will help us continue showing up every single week for men in Warwick and the other areas around the country, creating space for conversations, support, friendship and community.

Mark, from all of us at Men Walking And Talking Warwick… thank you mate.
An incredible effort, an incredible achievement, and a reminder of what people can do when they put their heart behind something. 💙

Another brilliant Monday night with the Men Walking And Talking Warwick Community 💙

Tonight we had 16 guys, one walked with us for the first time this week and 2 four paws join us for an evening walk around Warwick and honestly, every single week proves why this matters so much.
Mental Health Awareness Week may be over, but this community keeps showing up week after week for each other. Rain or shine. Good days or difficult ones. Nobody walks alone here.
Thank you to every man who came along tonight. Whether you talked the whole way, walked quietly beside someone, or simply got yourself out the house,it matters more than you probably realise.
And of course, thank you to our four legged supporters who never fail to bring smiles and conversations with them 🐾
We go again next Monday 👊

MONDAY NIGHT WALK WARWICK💙

Mental Health Awareness Week may be coming to an end… but for us, the conversations don’t stop when the hashtags do.

Every single Monday, without fail, we are here for the men of Warwick and the surrounding communities. No pressure. No judgement. No expectations. Just good people, fresh air, and real conversations with guys who understand that sometimes life gets heavy.

Whether you’ve walked with us before or you’ve been thinking about coming for weeks, this is your sign to just turn up. You do not have to be struggling to come along, and you definitely do not need to explain yourself.

Some lads come to talk.
Some come to listen.
Some just need to get out of the house for an hour.

Whatever your reason you are welcome here. 🤝
