This week we have reached 257 young people with rail safety workshops, taking the total up to 1353 so far in 2026! This is alongside our partnership with expanding our reach across local schools, helping keep our communities safe.

What a great way to kick off Rail Safety Week activities visiting the fabulous Safeside Education Centre in Birmingham, with our partners

The possibilities are endless here and opens up the concept of teaching rail safety alongside road, fire and water safety. We hope to bring many more students here in the future!

It's National Bike Week!

& to celebrate our Warwickshire County Council Active Travel colleagues are offer a “Dr Bike” cycle maintenance service outside Coventry rail station.

When: Wednesday 10th June between 1-7pm
Where: Opposite Coventry Railway Station - Visitor Information Centre, Friar Gate Boulevard, CV1 2FL

What's on offer: A totally FREE bike check and mini service, great advice and bike accessories

Happy !

This week, Community Rail Network Partnerships and station volunteer groups just like us will be raising the profile of and celebrating the inspiring work happening across Britain to connect communities with their railway.

Over the years we’ve worked with numerous groups with barriers to train travel. One such project was our Creative Platforms project with Emily Kaye Illustration and Coventry, Warwickshire and Worcestershire Mind , where we looked at how we could use art to help those with anxiety around travel.
