Can our lovely Warrington community help? 🎄

Creating Adventures is a local charity supporting adults with learning disabilities and autism through activities that build confidence, friendships and life skills. 💜

We’re looking for donations or loans of equipment for our Christmas wreath-making fundraiser for 20 adults.

Can you, your community group or a local business help with any of these?

🌿 20 moss wreath bases or rings – 12 inch
✂️ Up to 20 pairs of secateurs
🛠️ Up to 20 wire cutters
🧵 Florist reel wire and stub wire – enough for 20 wreaths
🎀 Wreath decorations, ribbons or other suitable craft materials

Even a few items would help, and equipment in good working condition would be very welcome.

FABRIC PUMPKIN MAKING WORKSHOP

Come and join us for a fun Creating Adventures fundraising workshop and get creative for autumn!

For just £15 per person, you’ll make two gorgeous fabric pumpkins to decorate and take home, just in time for the Halloween festivities. 🎃✨
All materials are provided, so you just need to bring yourself!

Last year a lovely lady in Thelwall passed away. Edith Hankey left Creating Adventures a legacy, asking for donations at her celebration of life to be donated to Creating Adventures. Her daughter Gill got in touch to pass us her mother’s donation. We asked Gill if we could purchase some promotional material for the choir to continue her legacy and give our Beautiful Noise choir and members more awareness and recognition. We purchased the feather flags and also a banner with the donation. Thank you so much to Edith ❤️, Gill and Edith’s family and friends for their support. Edith’s legacy is now with our choir as they tour and be their awesome selves. 🥰 🎙️ 🎶 Registered charity no. 1167842

A very special moment

After losing his best friend Rob Burrow to MND, Sir Kevin Sinfield continues to honour Rob’s legacy through his incredible challenges, raising awareness, funds and support for those living with MND and their families.

It felt so special for Creating Adventures to be there supporting Kevin, supporting each other, bringing people together and creating memories along the way. 💚

✨ What a way to start a Saturday! ✨

This morning our Beautiful Noise Choir came together to sing Sir Kevin Sinfield off on his final leg of 7 in 7 challenge, and it was such a special moment. 🎶💜💚

The choir were absolutely amazing. They sang, danced, laughed, supported each other and gave it everything they had. Seeing their confidence, their smiles and how much fun they were having was truly inspiring.

We often talk about the people who inspire us, but today our choir were the inspiration too. 💜

Being there to support Sir Kevin as he continues to raise awareness and vital funds for those affected by MND made it even more meaningful. And then, to top it all off, Sir Kevin stopped for a photo with our guys! 💚

So much laughter. So much love. So much singing.

This is what Creating Adventures is all about.
A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support us and cheer the choir on. It meant so much to have you there. 💜

And a special thank you to for giving us this wonderful opportunity to be part of such an important day, and to for facilitating the event and giving us the space we needed to be involved.
