Team Cheshire at 💚

A special day bringing the UK Scout movement together for the first Council in Conference in ten years — A chance to listen, share, connect and celebrate what’s happening across Scouting.

Council is the voice of the whole movement, bringing representatives from across the UK together to help shape how Scouting is governed and held accountable.

For us, it was a brilliant opportunity to represent Cheshire, make new connections, share our experiences and hear the inspiring stories of Scouting happening across the country.

One movement. A place to belong. 💚

Every adventure starts with a team. It’s time to build yours!

Cheshire Hike is just three weeks away, and our organisers are busy preparing for what promises to be our biggest event yet.

📅 Team deadline: Friday 11th September

Leaders: please add your hikers to their teams in the booking system, even if you think things may change. This is essential to help us finalise the event planning.

If someone drops out after the deadline, teams can still be merged or removed, but new teams cannot be created after 11th September.

Thank you for helping us get everything ready. Together, we’ll make Cheshire Hike an unforgettable adventure for our young people! 👣 💜

850 young people. One huge weekend. We need you! 🥾

Cheshire Hike 2026 is fully booked and set to be our biggest event in more than 50 years!

On 26–27th September, 850 Scouts, Explorers, Guides and Rangers will take on an unforgettable hiking adventure across Cheshire.

Now we need volunteers to help make it happen. From kit-checkers, checkpoint teams and first aiders to tent-pitching pros and friendly faces at our starts, basecamp and finish, there’s a role for everyone.

If you’re up for a brilliant weekend of teamwork, adventure, maybe muddy boots and maybe sunshine, we’d love to have you with us!

👉 Register to volunteer: bookings.cheshirehike.org.uk/register-as-a-volunteer

Already spoken to a member of the organising team? Please register anyway, as every volunteer needs to be on the system.
