At Blandford Animal Farm & Sanctuary, we love to recycle and re-use wherever possible. If you have any of the following items spare, we’d be very grateful:

🏠 Building & Maintenance

* Roofing sheets
* Roof felt
* Perspex sheeting (for roof covering)
* Guttering
* Tarpaulins
* Chicken wire
* Shed
* Generator
* Solar lights
* Small sections of worktop
* Storage shelves / shelving
* Small desk
* Money lock box

💧 Water & Washing

* Water containers (camping-style)
* Watering cans
* Portable sink

🌿 Gardening & Outdoor

* Wheelbarrows
* Gardening tools
* Brooms (even with broken handles – the animals love using them as scratchers!)
* Battery leaf blower
* Battery garden hover
* Small plants for our vegetable patch
* Herb cuttings
* Vegetables for the animals

🐴 Animal Care

* Small head collars and lead ropes
* Pony brushes
* Fly masks for miniature ponies
* Fly rugs for mini ponies/Shetlands
* Plastic dog beds
* Cat climbing trees and toys
* Cat food
* Chicken drinkers
* Hanging baskets (used as hay feeders for our small animals)

🎨 Education, Shop & Visitor Activities

* Blackboards
* Whiteboards
* Small chairs

* Rustic shelves for our mini produce shop display

* Swimming pools (even with small holes – perfect for covering hay!)
* Circular washing lines
* Glass jam jars
* Tupperware containers with lids
* Egg boxes (6-egg size)
* Rugs
* Hooks (coat hooks, tack hooks, hanging hooks)
* Hand towels
* Battery vacuum cleaner

🙋 Volunteers Needed

* W**d pullers for thistles and general weeding

Every donation helps us care for our animals while keeping useful items out of landfill. If you’ve got something similar that’s not on the list, please do get in touch—we may still be able to put it to good use!

Please remember to cut up your blister packs before you come on Saturday 13th June. Lovely homemade cake available!

As part of our drive to reduce the amount of household waste from Wareham that is getting sent to landfill, we'll be running monthly events where you can come and recycle the stuff you can’t put in your household recycling bins. De-clutter and help save the Planet!
