Wareham Wednesdays Free Community Music and Fireworks Events Extravaganza

Wareham Wednesdays was set up in 2011 by volunteers from local business, the chamber of trade and local people who wanted to put on events for locals & visitors. Thanks to all those who helped, the first year was a great success and has gone from strength to strength attracting many people into the town on a
Wednesday night during the summer holidays. Due to the public and business donations this

year we are able to put on fireworks every week as well as great bands all sponsored by The Quay Inn. Other main sponsors include The Old Granary, Jade-Aden, Virador, UK Tiles Direct,
Dentistry @69, Curtis Butchers, Kings Kabs, Harry's Bakehouse, Wareham Boat Hire, Dan The Man, Lulworth First Responders and not forgetting the committee members who give up their spare time and meet every week to organise these great events..... and why? because we all love Wareham and love seeing the town busy,
so please support us by entering teams, drinking our beer, putting money in our buckets, eating our burgers and attending our events.

Update for fireworks 🎇 🎆 We are still keeping to the Government Fire Alert and will not be having a fireworks display tonight.

However, we will have lots of fun things going on including:
Children's Entertainment - Punch & Judy: 6.30pm
Wessex Rescue Demonstration: 7pm
Wild West Raft Race: 7.15pm (£10 per raft)
Hannah Trim - Acoustic Country: 7.45pm
Charity Auction (Win a Family Glamping Weekend): 8.15pm
Honky-Tonk Highway: 8.30pm
Raffle: 9.55pm
Event finish: 10pm*

Wessex Rescue will be on The Quay at 7pm performing a short water rescue demonstration, showcasing the skills, teamwork and specialist equipment they use during real emergencies across Dorset. Come and see the team in action - it’s fast, fascinating and a brilliant insight into the work these volunteers do to keep our communities safe.
