We don’t just volunteer on Wednesdays! 🤣🥰

This weekend is the brilliant Dorset Bikefest who are supporting the amazing DocBike Dorset charity. We are providing our bar and some of our committee team are volunteering to help over the weekend.🎉🤩 🛵

If you haven’t got anything planned this weekend why not pop along to support this local event and charity.

With a whole weekend to look forward to, the fun starts from 3pm whether you're camping or Glamping, so you can pitch up, meet with friends, enjoy some live music then get ready for the best Biker Festival in the South West!

We will be holding our Annual General Meeting (AGM) at 7pm on Wednesday 25th February 2026 at The Club - Wareham. This meeting is open to everyone, and we would be delighted to see you all there.

2026 Agenda Highlights: We will be electing a new committee and are looking for a new Treasurer and Secretary to join the WW committee so if you think you are up for the job please get in touch. Exciting times ahead as we are also looking at restructuring our organisation, moving to the next phase, with a focus on assessing Wareham Wednesdays charity status.

A huge THANK YOU to those of our 2025 Crew who came along last night to the The Quay Inn, Wareham to help us celebrate the successful 2025 Wareham Wednesday events! 🤩🥳

We enjoyed a packed evening with entertainment from Whaley Entertainments Ltd talented talent show winners Jordan and Leon aka New Theory, a superb complimentary BBQ courtesy of B Curtis Butchers and The Quay Inn and The Quayside Barn's Superheroes Raffle - which raised a whopping £2906 🤩 including their summer Superhero merchandise sales, all in aid of our 2025 chosen charities. 🥰

To end the evening our chairman Ant Pack took to the ‘stage’ to thank everyone involved and to give our fabulous 2025 chosen charities - BASICS Dorset, MNDA East Dorset & New Forest, Purbeck Parkinson’s Group - ‘Purbeck Parky’s’, Wareham Disabled Club and Dementia Friendly Purbeck – their donations raised from our 2025 events. 🫶❤️

The Wareham Wednesday team would just like to give a monumental THANK YOU to everyone who supported us and came along to our events and donated, it means a huge amount to us and our charities. 😍

And finally we said a massive THANK YOU & a sad goodbye to Jude Marquet, who has decided to step down as Treasurer of Wareham Wednesdays after 15 years in the role! She has done an outstanding job, and we will miss her greatly…but we know she’s not too far away if we need a hand now and then…!! 😜
