Some of our Squirrels attended the first Ware and District Squirrels Activity Day on Saturday. With Squirrels from across the district they cooked on the fire, conquered an assault course with rope bridge and climbing wall, made bandanas and tried tomahawk throwing. We finished the day with singing around the campfire.

This past weekend was the District Cub Oxley shield competition held at Tolmers. Each Pack put a team in and went round all the bases before cooking their evening meal.

There was a big variety of bases this year, tent pitching, shelter building, first aid, knots, kitchen safety at camp, map reading and lots of other bases in between!

The final result was very close with Falcons coming in third in the main competition.

However, they won the Wildgoose handicraft trophy with a picture made from natural materials of Pacman. Apparently chosen because "the old people will know what this is!"

A very full on weekend and well done to both teams for their efforts
