On Sunday, Cubs from both Packs attended the County Water Activities day at ESSA. They were able to try paddleboarding, kayaking and katacanoeing. 🛶🚣

They each earned a Nautical Skills stage 1 and Paddlesports Stage 1 badge as well as Time on the Water to be awarded in Packs.

Great experience for everyone, a very big County event! 💦

Last night our Bobcat Scouts undertook a series of fire challenges, like lighting a fire with a single match, seeing how long it took to burn a piece of string across the alter fire, and relighting the fire with only flint and steel! A huge congratulations to our newly appointed Bobcat Patrol Leaders and Assistant Patrol Leaders! 🎉

These young people have shown commitment, enthusiasm and a willingness to support others, earning the opportunity to take on these important leadership roles within our Troop.

Being a Patrol Leader or Assistant Patrol Leader is about much more than wearing a badge. It’s about setting an example, helping younger Scouts, leading activities, building confidence and making sure everyone feels part of the team.

We’re incredibly proud of each of you and can’t wait to see what you’ll achieve over the coming year. Good luck in your new roles, you’ve got this! ⚜️
