Great job by all the Ware-based groups today. Good to see so many Scouts in the carnival and The Priory. We spoke with loads of young people and adults at the Herts Scouts gazeebo promoting Scouts for everyone.

🍺☀️ The Riverside Real Ale Festival is back for 2026!

Join us at Ware Priory on Saturday, 11th July for a fantastic day of real ales, live music, family entertainment.

With 27 real ales on offer, plus a selection of ciders and wines, there's something to suit every taste. Enjoy delicious food from the legendary 5th Ware Scouts BBQ, live music throughout the day and into the evening, and plenty of family-friendly entertainment.

🎟️ Advance tickets are just £6 and include a complimentary half-pint ale token. Pre-booking is recommended to guarantee entry.

Conor, aged 6, gets national Scout award for saving his mother’s life with first aid skills learnt at Squirrel Scouts

Conor Tuohy is awarded the Chief Scout's Unsung Heroes Award after saving his mother from choking.

Last month 20 teams of Scouts from across the district took part in our second annual Brickbots competition.
Teams had to build their remote controlled Brickbot and then drive it around a course in the fastest time possible.
Two Trophies were up for grabs so congratulations go to...
'GREG' from 3rd Ware Scout Group who won the Speed Demons Time Trial.
'THE FRUIT BOWL' from 2nd Ware Scout Group who won the Master Builders Cup for their spinning fruit design.
Thanks to Master Builders for running this event for us again.
