Our Men's Health Walk-In Clinics have now seen over 70 men across three sessions 🚹

Across these clinics we have found 2 new cases of prostate cancer, picked up through a routine check. The sessions have also found cases of high blood pressure, raised PSA levels, pre-diabetes, palpitations and prostatitis in men who had no idea anything was wrong.

April is Stress Awareness Month. Stress can quietly affect your blood pressure, your heart and your blood sugar - these are some of the things we check at the clinic. Simple, routine checks – helping spot issues early and keeping you on track with your health.

Save the date for our next clinic:

When? πŸ“…Tuesday 28th April
Time? ⏰ 4–6pm
Where? πŸ“Fort House Surgery

Pop in for a great opportunity to speak with a range of clinicians and to have the following checked:

βœ… Height, weight & BMI
βœ… Blood pressure
βœ… HbA1c (average blood sugar to check for diabetes)*
βœ… Cholesterol*
βœ… PSA (Prostate Specific Antigen)*
*if eligible

On arrival you'll be asked for a urine sample - a simple but valuable part of the check.

🩺 No booking needed – just walk in.
Share this with someone who needs to see it πŸ’š
