Opening times for those with a referral:
Mon 12-2 - St Andrews Church, Wed 10-12 - St Peters Church, Thurs 10-12 & Friday 10-12 - St Johns Church. Food is donated
All food given out is donated, whether by schools, churches, businesses, individuals, or supermarket donation boxes. Additional drop off point at James Neave estate agents in high street, Walton.
2. Food is sorted by volunteers accordi
ng to type and 'best before date'. They also check it is undamaged (and that it can be used in a food parcel) and pack it into parcels ready to be distributed. It is then taken to foodbank centres ready to be
distributed.
3. Care professionals such as doctors, health visitors, social workers, Citizens Advice Bureau staff, welfare officers, the police and probation officers, amongst others, identify people in crisis and issue them with a foodbank voucher or E referral code.
4. Clients bring their voucher or E referral code to a foodbank centre where it is exchanged for a three day parcel of food. Food parcels have been designed by dieticians to provide recipients with nutritionally balanced food. Get Involved:
