Thank you, The King Alfred School Academy! ✨

The Careers Team at The King Alfred School Academy recently launched a Youth Enterprise Project in partnership with Weston Hospicecare, giving Year 7 students the opportunity to work collaboratively, build their employability skills and support a local charity.

Each group was given a £30 investment to support their fundraising efforts. Over the course of the term, Year 7 students demonstrated fantastic initiative by planning and hosting a wide range of events, including bake sales, a disco, “soak the teacher,” a quiz night, sweet sales and more.

Their hard work, creativity and teamwork paid off, raising an impressive £1,019.82 for Weston Hospicecare! 💙

A huge well done to Year 7 for their commitment, imagination and determination throughout the project, what an incredible achievement!
