🏳️‍⚧️🏳️‍🌈🌈 PLYMOUTH PRIDE 2026 SUPPORTED BY UNITE THE UNION🌈🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

Plymouth Pride, supported by Unite the Union, will take place on the 11th of July on Plymouth Hoe. Join us to celebrate each and every one of us!

We will march from Theatre Royal Plymouth to Plymouth Hoe Park at 11:30am. Join us to fill the city centre with Rainbows and Noise! Community groups & charities can sign up to join the march by clicking the link below. Individuals are welcome to join at the rear of the march. The celebration then continues on Plymouth Hoe! With over 50 stalls on the Hoe, there are stalls from local companies, charities, community groups, and service providers.

We have 6 hours of music & entertainment, featuring local Singers, Bands, and Drag Queens! More details on our exciting line-up coming soon!

There will be a full bar and several tasty food & drink options available! A first for Plymouth Pride, we will have a dog show, and there will be plenty of Pride Pooches around!

'Fires and Fascism & how communities are fighting back to create change' is an inspirational documentary to show how groups in Greece, Italy, Spain, and Portugal are responding to the fires that are growing in intensity through closer connections with nature, with each other, and with political decision-making.

The film shows how fascist regimes have facilitated capitalist ventures that have created the fires. It explores how Europe’s wildfires are tied to organised crime and big business, and showcases grassroots resistance.

The film was crowdfunded and filmed by a first-time filmmaker who travelled across five countries by public transport, interviewing people he met at the sites of some of Europe's largest wildfires. People were given the choice to speak in their native languages, and it is fully subtitled in English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, and German, with Greek and French versions being worked on currently.

Audiences have been inspired by the film, with comments such as:
‘I learned a lot and was also touched by the positivity that I took away from it’
‘I was inspired by the examples shown of collective effort on the ground by local people’
‘it is such an important film with a critical message for communities everywhere’.
