Tissues and Issues CIC We are a group of parents/grandparents/carers of young people aged 0-25 with a diagnosis or pending diagnoses of additional needs/disabilities.

We provide events such as coffee mornings, youth clubs, professional speakers and picnics as well as having a fabulous private online support group where you can post for signposting and advice from other parents/carers in similar circumstances. All our events are free to our families that attend. We run on fundraising and donations to enable us to run fully inclusive for a broad spectrum of additional needs, disabilities and diagnosis.

Our Family Fun Day was a huge success last week.
It was so lovely to see so many of our families joining us and making the day so amazing 🙂
We would like to give a huge thank you to all those that donated towards our raffle prizes, gave up their time to help, and contributed in any way.
We’d also like to thank Steve Darling MP for joining us, and taking the time to chat to us all.

Tissues and Issues are a great local organisation which supports parents and carers of young people who have a recognised disability additional need or are awaiting diagnosis.

They hosted a summer play day at the end of last week, which I attended and spoke with parents about the support they receive from Tissues and Issues. The children there got to participate in lots of activities, such as face painting, crafting and a bouncy castle.

I will keep championing the cause of parents who are navigating the SEND system, including the more than 140 parents that have come to me for help. If you too need help please do not hesitate to email me at [email protected].
