SW Veterans Project UK Raising funds for Veterans in and around South West of UK Founder David Allwright. Founded January 1, 2024
I served in Royal Signals 1973 to 1980.

Had planned on doing 22 years but suffered a breakdown in Northern Ireland in late 1979. Medically discharged in July 1980. Between the years 1980 until mid 2016 I recieved zero help for my condition. I finally met up with Help 4 Heroes at Forces Day and that changed my life in more ways than since my discharge. As I move into retirement I will close my online retail ebay shop down - stampsnallsor

ts. I am supported by various Veterans organisations including Veterans Outdoors. These organisations based in and around the Plymouth/South West. As my business over last 20 years has been in helping charities with Fundraising I will continue to help these organisations in a completely different way to which I have been doing. This project will raise funds from scrapping electronic and electrical items. I started this in early 2024 at home but was introduced to a local ewaste company EWR Cornwall Ltd, in Torpoint that donated me 2000 computer monitors. Far more than I could handle at home. So I purchased a 40ft container for the project. This project has been approved by Environmental Agency, Devon, Cornwall and Plymouth Councils. Since starting I have raised about £2,000+ split between the organisations.

Thank you to Four Greens Community Trust for another large donation which will help raise money for Veterans Projects.

Wow. Another very hot day at the container. Temp inside reached 42c. No work done there at all. Even with shade outside too hot, so spent the afternoon help EWR in the main building sorting cables which was much cooler as it has an insulated roof.

A few very large power supply units to dismantle
