💙 Volunteer Spotlight: Sioban
During Volunteers' Week, we're celebrating the incredible individuals who give their time, compassion and experience to support patients and families across Herriot Hospice.

Sioban brings a lifetime of care and understanding to her role as a Community Outreach Volunteer. Her journey into volunteering was inspired by personal experience and a desire to continue supporting others in meaningful ways after retirement.

Through simple but powerful moments of connection—conversation, companionship and presence—Sioban helps provide comfort to patients while giving families valuable time and space.

Her story is a beautiful reminder that volunteering isn’t just about what you give, but the relationships you build and the difference you make along the way.

Thank you, Sioban, for everything you do. 💙

The wait is over...for the first time, the Moonlight Glow Walk is coming to Thirsk! 🌟

We're so excited to light up the streets of Thirsk this October, in support of local hospice care. Our Moonlight Glow walk is a celebration of all things bright, glowy and vibrant, so bring your glow sticks, bright clothes and energy along to Thirsk Racecourse and join us for a night of fun!
